1. Program Objectives
1.1. General Objectives
The program aims to train high-quality human resources with strong expertise in financial investment and analysis, professional ethics, and social responsibility. Graduates are expected to take on roles in financial institutions and corporate finance departments in both domestic and international organizations.
1.2 Specific Objectives
PO1: Graduates can become financial experts or managers in government agencies, financial institutions, securities companies, and various enterprises.
PO2: Graduates acquire scientific methodologies and logical thinking to support lifelong learning. They gain fundamental knowledge of economics and business related to financial asset analysis and valuation. They are proficient in applying specialized knowledge in investment analysis and evaluation.
PO3: Graduates possess strong political ideology, ethics, and legal compliance. They develop essential workplace skills, including information technology proficiency and foreign language competence.
PO4: Graduates stay updated with quantitative models, analytical techniques, and emerging trends in financial investment analysis. They are also prepared for professional certification exams such as the Securities Practicing Certificate issued by the State Securities Commission of Vietnam and the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
2. Program Learning Outcomes
2.1. Knowledge
PLO1: Apply fundamental knowledge in political science, social science, research methodologies, information technology, and general education to lifelong learning and professional development..
PLO2: Explain fundamental economic and business principles relevant to the finance and banking industry.
PLO3: Utilize specialized knowledge in financial investment and analysis to solve industry-specific problems.
PLO4: Assess complex financial issues within organizations and financial intermediaries, facilitating investment decisions and professional certification preparation such as the Securities Practicing Certificate issued by the State Securities Commission of Vietnam and the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation..
2.2. Skills
PLO5: Perform masterfully financial models and methodologies to analyze and solve complex financial and investment-related problems.
PLO6: Flexible communication in English, equivalent to 4/6 Vietnamese Language Proficiency Framework issued under Circular No. 01/2014/TT-BGDĐT dated January 24, 2014, by the Ministry of Education and Training, and effectively uses English for professional finance and banking applications.
PLO7: Integrate advanced office computing skills (in accordance with Circular No. 03/2014/TT-BTTTT dated March 11, 2014, issued by the Ministry of Information and Communications).
