Starting in 2026, FTU introduces 10 new undergraduate majors, develop 03 undergraduate majors from existing programs, and launch 01 new undergraduate program within an existing major, with a total projected intake of approximately 370 students for the newly introduced and developed programs. Most of these programs are designed in accordance with international career-oriented education models and are delivered in English, with a strong emphasis on practical learning, digital competencies, and graduate employability.

Digital economy, technology, data, and artificial intelligence

This group of programs reflects FTU’s strategic orientation toward preparing human resources for the digital economy and the transformation of business models, including:

• Data Science (Data Science for Innovation in Economics and Business Program);

• Artificial Intelligence (Artificial Intelligence for Innovation in Economics and Business Program);

• Digital Economy (Digital Economy and Data Analytics Program);

• Financial Technology (FinTech) (FinTech and Sustainable Finance Program);

• E-commerce (Smart Digital Commerce and Business Innovation Program).

Management, operations, and global value chains

These programs focus on developing human resources capable of managing organizations, people, and supply chains in an increasingly globalized and digitalized environment:

• Industrial Management (Smart Industrial Management Program);

• Human Resource Management (Digital Human Resource Management and Organizational Development Program);

• Logistics and Supply Chain Management – developed from an existing undergraduate program (Global Logistics and Supply Chain Innovation Program).

Law and auditing in the modern business environment

This group aims to equip students with strong legal foundations and risk management capabilities for economic and business activities in the context of digitalization and international integration:

• Economic Law (Digital Business and Economic Law Program);

• International Trade Law – developed from an existing undergraduate program (International Trade Law Program);

• Civil Law and Civil Procedure (Civil Law and Civil Procedure Law Program);

• Auditing (Technology-Integrated Auditing Program).

Digital business, creativity, and cultural industries

In addition to its traditional strengths, FTU continues to expand into emerging fields associated with creativity and cultural industries:

• Commercial Business – developed from an existing undergraduate program (Global Digital Business Program);

• Creative Business and Cultural Industries – a newly introduced undergraduate program under the Business Administration major.

Comprehensive implementation of the Career Development Integrated Training Model (CDIM)

Alongside the introduction and development of new undergraduate programs, Foreign Trade University is fully implementing the Career Development Integrated Training Model (CDIM) across undergraduate education. Under this model, curricula are designed through the integration of foundational knowledge, professional skills, digital competencies, and experiential learning, while strengthening collaboration with enterprises, international working environments, and evolving labor market trends.

With a strong commitment to supporting applicants – especially during this critical period as students are focusing on preparing for the 2025 National High School Graduation Exam  FTU announces an extension of the deadline for application registration, editing, supplementation, and locking for applicants using Admission Methods 1 and 3 on the Online Admissions System.

Extended deadline for Methods 1 and 3: FROM 09:00 ON JUNE 28, 2025 TO 17:00 ON JUNE 30, 2025.

After this period, the online system will automatically disable the editing and locking functions for all applicants. Any application that remains “UNLOCKED” by 17:00 on June 30, 2025 will be considered invalid – meaning the applicant will be ineligible to participate in the selection process for Methods 1 and 3.

NOTE:

• Once an application is locked, it cannot be reopened or edited under any circumstances.

• Applications that are locked on time will be reviewed and processed by the University as per regulations.

Pursuant to the Undergraduate Education Regulations of Foreign Trade University (issued with Decision No. 3188/QĐ-ĐHNT dated December 21, 2021, by the Rector of Foreign Trade University);

The University hereby announces the Mid-Term Internship Plan for undergraduate students at the Main Campus in Hanoi and the Quang Ninh Campus for the 2025–2026 academic year as follows:

1. Purpose:

The Mid-Term Internship is a compulsory component of several training programs and an annual activity organized by the University for all undergraduate students. Its aims are:

• To create opportunities for students to apply their accumulated academic knowledge to real-world practice; enabling students to experience business operations and practical work at organizations and institutions that align with their field of study;
  
• To help students clearly understand career paths and work areas post-graduation; and to consolidate essential knowledge and skills related to their major;
  
• To help students identify and address their knowledge and skill gaps so they can improve and build upon them in the remaining semesters at university;
  
• To allow students to accumulate practical experience and better prepare for their graduation project or thesis with higher efficiency.

2. Eligible Participants:

Students enrolled in undergraduate programs at the Main Campus (Hanoi) and Quang Ninh Campus, who:

• Are not currently under criminal investigation, suspended due to disciplinary reasons, on academic leave, or deferred;
  
• Have not yet completed the mid-term internship course;
  

For students from Cohort 59 and earlier:

• Must be in their third year, actively attending classes, and have earned at least 90 credits by the end of Semester 1 of the 2024–2025 academic year (excluding credits from Physical Education and National Defense Education courses).
  

For students from Cohort 60 onward:

• Must register for the internship based on the specific requirements of their respective training programs (detailed internship schedules per program are in the attached appendix).

3. Implementation Schedule:

3.1. General Regulations:

• Students must complete a minimum of 75 working hours at an organization or business (equivalent to at least 3 hours/day, 5 days/week, for a minimum of 5 weeks).
  
• At the end of the internship, students are required to submit a Mid-Term Internship Report, accompanied by:
  
  • A written evaluation signed and stamped by an authorized person at the host organization;
    
  • A document confirming assignment of duties at the host company (if available).
    
• Internship activities must not conflict with students’ registered class schedules.
  
• During the internship period, students must maintain regular communication and progress updates with their assigned academic supervisor.
  

3.2. Internship Periods:

Semester 1, Academic Year 2025–2026

• Batch 01 – Period 1: August 4, 2025 – October 12, 2025
  
• Batch 02 – Period 2: October 20, 2025 – December 28, 2025

Semester 2, Academic Year 2025–2026

• Batch 03 – Period 1: January 5, 2026 – March 29, 2026
  
• Batch 04 – Period 2: April 6, 2026 – June 28, 2026

Summer Term 2026 – Batch 05

• Period: June 29, 2026 – July 31, 2026

In all batches, students must conduct the internship and submit their report under the guidance of their assigned academic supervisor.

4. Registration and Implementation Process:

• Students register for the mid-term internship via their personal credit registration portal during the designated registration periods, following notifications and instructions from the Department of Undergraduate Studies.
  
• The Department of Undergraduate Studies will approve and publish the official list of eligible students and forward it to the respective Institutes/Faculties.
  
• Institutes/Faculties will assign academic supervisors for the eligible students.
  
• Students then carry out the internship and prepare their reports under the guidance of their assigned supervisors.
