Credit Transfer Procedure – Foreign Trade University

1. Credit Transfer After Participating in an International Exchange Program (Authorized by FTU)

Students who participate in an international exchange program under an official nomination from Foreign Trade University must follow these steps to have their transferred credits recognized:

  • Pay the provisional credit transfer fee for the courses to be transferred.

  • Submit the application package to the International Office, including:

    • Credit Transfer Application Form

    • Learning Agreement signed by both institutions (photocopy)

    • Course Equivalency Approval

    • Transcript issued by the partner university (photocopy; bring the original for verification)

    • Payment receipt for the credit transfer fee

  • Within one week of receiving the complete application, the International Office will convert the grades using the official FTU conversion table and send the results to the Undergraduate Studies Department.
  • The Undergraduate Studies Department will then process and officially recognize the credits.

2. Credit Transfer After Participating in a Domestic Exchange Program (Authorized by FTU)

Students who join a domestic exchange program under FTU’s official nomination must submit:

  • Credit Transfer Application Form

  • Transcript from the host institution (photocopy; bring the original for verification at the Training Management Department)

3. Credit Transfer from Major 1 to Major 2

After completing the course and having the final grade published on FTU Gate, students must:
