1. General Principles
-
Students must already have an exam schedule available on their FTUGate account.
-
Students must meet the eligibility requirements to take the exam (attendance and midterm scores must be at least 4/10).
-
Students approved for exam postponement must proactively register for a make-up exam in the next phase/semester. The make-up must be completed within one semester from the postponed exam; otherwise, students will have to retake the course.
-
Students must submit their request for rescheduling, postponement, or make-up exam registration at least 3 working days before the exam date. Late submissions will be considered at the discretion of the Training Management Department.
Note:
-
Fourth-year students or those whose study period is extended due to incomplete coursework are not eligible for exam postponement, except in special cases approved by the Undergraduate Studies Department.
-
Students experiencing timetable conflicts or issues are advised to contact the Undergraduate Studies Department for assistance.
2. Eligibility for Exam Rescheduling or Postponement
Students may request to reschedule or postpone an exam if they meet any of the following conditions:
-
Exam schedule conflict (overlap with another exam).
-
Overloaded schedule, including:
-
2 exams on the same day;
-
3 exams over 2 consecutive days;
-
3 exams over 3 consecutive days.
-
-
Medical emergencies or accidents, with valid documentation from a hospital or an equivalent medical facility at the district level or higher. Other unrelated documents will not be accepted.
-
Other special cases subject to approval by the Training Management Department.
Important:
-
Students are not allowed to postpone or reschedule all exams solely due to scheduling conflicts or dense exam schedules.
-
Students must verify their personal exam schedules and ensure no new conflicts are created when rescheduling.
-
For computer-based foreign language exams, rescheduled dates must be at least one day after the originally scheduled exam session.
3. Eligibility for Make-up Exams
Students may register for a make-up exam if:
-
They were previously approved for exam postponement;
-
They are still within the allowed timeframe to register for the make-up;
-
Other special cases are subject to approval by the Undergraduate Studies Department.
4. Registration Instructions
Students must submit their request via the designated registration form, which is attached in the exam schedule announcements published on:
