1. Training objectives
General Objectives:
The programme aims to produce high-quality industrial management human resources with comprehensive knowledge of economics and modern industrial management grounded in data and digital technology. Graduates are expected to possess sound political qualities, professional ethics, a sense of community, and a solid foreign-language foundation; they should also demonstrate good intellectual and physical capacity to meet the requirements of the Vietnamese and international labour markets.
Specific Objectives:
- PO1: Possess foundational knowledge and professional skills in (1) economics and management, (2) industrial production systems, and (3) digital technologies and smart operating models in order to undertake jobs related to industrial management, manufacturing enterprise management, and domestic and international organizations operating in industrial sectors.
- PO2: Possess both foundational and advanced knowledge and skills in smart industrial management, including lean management foundations, optimized production management systems, and tools for strategic, operational, production, supply, human resource, finance, marketing, communication, branding, and business culture management from the perspective of modern and advanced industrial management.
- PO3: Possess the knowledge and skills to analyze and synthesize information and apply quantitative methods, modelling, data analytics, digital technologies, and intelligent systems in enterprise management and administration in order to solve industrial production problems; conduct monitoring, evaluation, and improvement; and manage and coordinate digital transformation and smart industry projects to optimize operating processes.
- PO4: Demonstrate innovation capability, professional practice capability, the ability to work in multicultural environments, resilience in overcoming difficulties and challenges, and social responsibility.

Knowledge
PLO1: Apply foundational knowledge in political science, social sciences and humanities, methodology, scientific worldview, information technology, and other general education areas for study, research, and work.

Skills
PLO4: Coordinate data collection, organization, and analysis activities in smart industrial management.
PLO5: Conduct the research process, including problem identification, critical literature analysis, the use of appropriate data extraction tools, solution proposal, and implementation planning for issues in business and smart industrial management.
- PI05.1: Carry out the research process, including identifying problems, critically analyzing literature, and using appropriate data extraction tools to reach sound conclusions.
- PI05.2: Present and communicate clearly, and defend research results through critical argumentation.
PLO6: Use English proficiently (equivalent to Level 5/6 of the Vietnamese Foreign Language Competency Framework issued under Circular No. 01/2014/TT-BGDĐT) and demonstrate proficiency in English for economics, business, industrial management, digital technology, and digital transformation.
- PI06.1: Use English proficiently for study and work in international environments, especially in business, at Level 5/6.

PLO7: Use office information technology proficiently (in accordance with the advanced IT skills standard under Circular No. 03/2014/TT-BTTTT dated 11/03/2014 of the Ministry of Information and Communications); achieve Level 5/8 in the digital competency domains of data and information literacy, communication and collaboration in digital environments, digital content creation, and safety; and Level 4/8 in the AI application domain under the Digital Competency Framework issued under Circular No. 02/2025/TT-BGDĐT dated 24/01/2025 of the Ministry of Education and Training.
