Whether making a transaction, downloading an app or simply browsing the internet, every action we take generates data. Businesses collect and analyse this data to understand their customers and optimise their business strategies. Data is therefore becoming a “common language” that every economics student needs to know how to use.

🔹 Data is the foundation of every business decision

Understanding how to collect and analyse data helps you see clearly how businesses operate – from marketing and sales to finance.

🔹 Knowing how to read data means knowing how to seize opportunities

Based on data, businesses optimise profits, launch products at the right time and adjust their strategies more effectively.

🔹 Data analysis = A clear career advantage

This skill is increasingly required for entry-level positions and is a stepping stone for rapid advancement in a competitive environment.

👉 Whether in Finance or Marketing, data analysis is always an essential skill for any type of business. If you master data analysis skills, access to jobs paying thousands of dollars is entirely within reach, and it will also highlight to employers your ability to add value to a business.

The program is suitable for all students/alumni passionate about finance, economics and business administration. All further information about the FDC-K09 intake will be continuously updated on the program’s official Fanpage “Foreign Trade University – Data Science in Economics and Business”.
