Bachelor in International Business, majoring in Digital Business (International Career Orientation Program) (for cohort 64)

1. Training objectives

General Objective (Educational Objective – EOs)

The programme aims to train high-quality digital business human resources with sound political qualities, genuine business ethics, comprehensive professional knowledge of economics and international business, and knowledge of data, information technology, the digital technology revolution, and digital transformation in business. Graduates are expected to demonstrate critical thinking, innovation capability, the ability to apply specialized tools in business digital transformation projects, and strategic thinking; they are prepared to develop business activities on digital technology platforms, and to exercise autonomy, responsibility, independent working ability, and lifelong learning. The programme supplies society with high-quality business professionals capable of assuming positions as specialists, managers, consultants, and policy planners in digital transformation and digital business development in domestic and international enterprises and organizations.

Specific Objectives (Programme Objectives – POs)

PO1: Possess foundational and comprehensive knowledge of basic social principles, legal knowledge and environmental protection, the laws and models governing economic and business operations, and trends in technology, digitalization, and digital transformation.

PO2: Possess in-depth knowledge of international business and digital business, as well as strategic, operations, production, supply, human resource, finance, marketing, communication, branding, and business culture management tools from the perspective of digital technologies and digital transformation.

PO3: Possess knowledge of data, information technology, digital technology development trends, and specialized tools used in digital transformation projects and in the development of business activities on digital platforms.

PO4: Demonstrate sound political qualities, genuine business ethics, and a sense of community service; show an entrepreneurial spirit, autonomy, responsibility, independent working ability, and lifelong learning capacity.

PO5: Demonstrate strong professional skills in planning, coordinating implementation, leading, coaching professional work, and applying theoretical and practical knowledge to improve and innovate the effectiveness of international business through digital technologies and digital transformation; use English proficiently in professional activities and communicate fluently in professional situations in the field of digital business.

PO6: Be capable of identifying and solving practical international business problems through digital technology-based approaches.

2. Programme Learning Outcomes (PLOs)

Knowledge

PLO 1: Apply foundational knowledge of political science, social sciences, methodology, scientific worldview, information technology, and other general education disciplines to learning, research, and lifelong work.

PLO 2: Apply knowledge to economic and business practice, including the disciplinary foundation of international business and foundational knowledge in digitalization, digital technologies, and digital business.

PLO 3: Analyze and compare issues related to business, operations management, production systems, supply, human resource management, finance, marketing, e-commerce, branding, communication, and related areas in digital business.

PLO 4: Creatively apply technological knowledge and specialized tools to evaluate management models and tools on digital technology platforms, implement digital transformation, and develop business activities on technology-based platforms.

PLO 5: Propose innovative ideas and solutions for implementing digital transformation in international business activities or plans for developing digital business activities.

Skills

PLO 6: Apply knowledge and practical tools to solving problems in the field of international business.

PLO 7: Independently search for, synthesize, and evaluate accurate data and information in order to identify and solve specific problems in the field of digital business.

PLO 8: Combine digital business models and tools and propose advisory solutions to enterprise digital business problems.

PLO 9: Use English proficiently (equivalent to Level 5/6 under the Vietnamese Foreign Language Competency Framework issued together with Circular No. 01/2014/TT-BGDĐT) and demonstrate proficient use of English for digital business purposes.

PLO 10: Use office information technology proficiently in accordance with Circular No. 03/2014/TT-BTTTT dated 11 March 2014 and be able to use selected software for data processing, analysis, and security proficiently.

Autonomy and Responsibility

PLO 11: Demonstrate an open and receptive attitude toward learning and be ready to embrace new knowledge and new information in business and digital technology activities.

PLO 12: Demonstrate an open spirit and participate actively in practical activities, fieldwork, projects, schemes, and related initiatives directed toward collective and social benefits.

PLO 13: Demonstrate innovative thinking, accept diverse values, and adapt and respond to change in international business activities and social life.

PLO 14: Demonstrate responsibility and proactively plan, implement, evaluate, and improve projects and digital business activities, while continuously creating shared value for the organization and the wider community.

PLO 15: Demonstrate readiness to acquire knowledge, the ability to work independently and learn throughout life, resilience in overcoming difficulties, and autonomy and responsibility toward oneself, the collective, and society.
