1. Training objectives
The undergraduate programme in Economic Law, Economic Law and Digital Business aims to train high-quality legal professionals with sound political qualities, professional ethics, and good health; possessing comprehensive and systematic legal knowledge, and a firm grasp of legal principles and social laws. Students are equipped with in-depth knowledge of both traditional economic law and legal frameworks governing activities in the digital business environment; capable of applying technology, foreign languages, and interdisciplinary thinking to legal practice in the context of international integration and digital transformation.
The programme is designed in alignment with the national standards for undergraduate law programmes as promulgated under Decision No. 678/QĐ-BGDĐT dated 14 March 2025, as well as the 2025 plan for programme evaluation and improvement. Accordingly, the curriculum is developed and continuously refined based on the principles of fundamental orientation, openness, flexibility, comprehensiveness, and streamlining, with a focus on specialized and in-depth training.
Upon completion of the programme, graduates are expected to achieve the following programme learning outcomes:
PO1: Possess foundational and advanced knowledge of economic law, particularly in legal frameworks governing digital business activities, e-commerce, fintech and legal relations arising in the digital business environment.
PO2: Master core legal practice skills in the context of digital transformation, including legal analysis, advisory, litigation, and dispute resolution.
PO3: Effectively use foreign languages, especially legal English, and apply information technology in study, research, and professional practice in a global environment.
PO4: Demonstrate strong political awareness, professional ethics, and good health; maintain responsibility, professionalism, compliance with legal and ethical standards, and a commitment to community service.
PO5: Possess lifelong learning ability, independence, critical and creative thinking; proactively adapt to change; demonstrate entrepreneurial capability and readiness for advanced studies or specialised training.

Students can choose a second foreign language as part of their training program (selecting one of the following languages: English, Chinese, Japanese, French, or Spanish). Upon completion of the second foreign language modules, students achieve level 3/6 in the 6-level foreign language proficiency framework used in Vietnam, as stipulated in Circular No. 01/2014/TT-BGDĐT. The results of learning a second foreign language are not included in the cumulative GPA and are not a condition for evaluating the level of achievement of the training program’s output standards. The learning results are recorded and accompanied by the student’s academic certificate.
