Bachelor in French Language, majoring in Business French (Integrated Program, minor in International Business) (for cohorts from K64 onward)

  1. Program Objectives

General Objective

The undergraduate program in French Studies with a minor in International Business, specializing in Business French (Integrated Program), aims to equip students with a solid foundation of knowledge and advanced practical skills in the fields of Business French and International Business.

The program is designed to foster open-minded thinking, a strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and creativity, enabling graduates to effectively meet the demands of the labor market in the context of global integration and digital transformation.

Specific Objectives

PO1 – Strong Academic and Interdisciplinary Foundation

Provide students with a solid foundation in French language and Francophone culture, Business French, and core areas of International Business (economics, marketing, finance, logistics, etc.), enabling them to effectively analyze and address issues in multilingual and multicultural professional environments.

PO2 – Practical and Innovative Professional Competencies

Develop students’ ability to use professional foreign languages (French at C1 level and English at a minimum of B1), intercultural communication skills, teamwork, digital tools, and critical thinking to solve problems, implement projects, conduct business transactions, and communicate effectively in digital and global contexts.

PO3 – Personal Qualities and Social Responsibility

Foster lifelong learning, integrity, and responsibility toward oneself and the community; enhance global adaptability, flexibility, and a strong commitment to contributing to the sustainable development of businesses and society in the context of globalization and digital transformation.

Upon completion of the program, graduates will be able to:

Knowledge (K)

PLO1: Apply foundational knowledge of political science, social sciences, and humanities to study and professional practice.

PLO2: Apply core knowledge of French phonetics, vocabulary, grammar, and Francophone culture and civilization to communicate effectively in multilingual and multicultural environments.
PLO3: Integrate knowledge of Business French to analyze situations, solve problems, and perform professional communication tasks in the field of commerce and economics.
PLO4: Apply fundamental knowledge of economics, international business, and global strategy to evaluate business environments, develop solutions, and participate effectively and professionally in management, transactions, and international market development.

Skills (S)

PLO5: Communicate effectively in French (C1 level) and English (minimum B1) in academic, professional, and intercultural contexts; use appropriate language for different audiences; work effectively in teams; demonstrate active listening, presentation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills in multicultural environments.
PLO6: Proactively identify and define problems; apply critical thinking and design thinking to propose innovative solutions in international business contexts; experiment and refine ideas to achieve effectiveness and sustainability.

PLO7: Digital Competence

Demonstrate advanced ICT skills (as stipulated in Circular No. 03/2014/TT-BTTTT dated March 14, 2014, issued by the Ministry of Information and Communications). 

Achieve Level 4/8 in the National Digital Competence Framework (as stipulated in Circular No. 02/2025/TT-BGDĐT dated January 24, 2025, issued by the Ministry of Education and Training).
