1. Program Objectives
1.1. General Objective
To develop high-quality workforce capable of undertaking positions requiring advanced English proficiency in domestic and international organizations.
1.2. Specific Objectives
To develop high-quality graduates who:
- PO1: Possess political integrity, professional ethics, and maintain the physical and mental well-being required for sustained professional practice;
- PO2: Demonstrate strong English-language knowledge and skills, particularly for use in the field of international business.
- PO3: Have a fundamental understanding of social issues relevant to international business and international business cultures.
- PO4: Have foundational knowledge and essential skills in international business.
- PO5: Are able to communicate independently in a second foreign language.
- PO6: Possess the ability to identify and solve problems and to work autonomously and responsibly.
- PO7: Possess the ability to respond to evolving demands in a globalised professional landscape, demonstrate creativity, and pursue lifelong learning.
2. Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs)
Upon completion of the program, graduates are able to:
2.1. Knowledge
- PLO1: Apply foundational knowledge of political science, social sciences, and humanities in academic and professional contexts.
- PLO2: Analyze and effectively apply sound practical knowledge and in-depth theoretical understanding of language and culture in communication in international settings. Achieve English proficiency at Level 5 under the Vietnamese Six-Level Foreign Language Proficiency Framework, equivalent to C1+ on the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) or an IELTS score of 7.5 or above.
- PLO3: Demonstrate proficient use of English for Specific Purposes in planning, organizing, and supervising activities in the business sector, particularly in international business contexts. Attain Business English proficiency at the BEC (Business English Certificate) Higher level.
- PLO4: Apply foundational knowledge of management and administration in novel or complex international business contexts.
2.2. Skills
- PLO5: Demonstrate proficient use of English in professional contexts, particularly in international business, to meet labor market requirements.
- PLO6: Demonstrate critical thinking and the ability to identify and solve problems in dynamic and changing environments.
- PLO7: Demonstrate the ability to learn independently and conduct self-directed research in response to increasing professional demands.
- PLO8: Demonstrate entrepreneurial initiative and the capacity to generate employment through venture creation.
- PLO9: Communicate problems and solutions effectively in the workplace and transfer knowledge and expertise across tasks of varying complexity.
- PLO10: Evaluate the quality of completed work and the performance of team members.
- PLO11: Use a second foreign language other than English at Level 4/6 of the Vietnamese Six-Level Foreign Language Proficiency Framework.
- PLO12: Demonstrate proficiency in basic information technology skills in accordance with Circular No. 03/2014/TT-BTTTT dated March 14, 2014 of the Ministry of Information and Communications; achieve Level 4/8 across all domains of the digital competency framework under Circular No. 02/2025/TT-BGDĐT dated January 24, 2025 of the Ministry of Education and Training.
2.3. Autonomy and Responsibility
- PLO13: Work independently and collaboratively in different working conditions, assuming both personal and team responsibilities.
- PLO14: Guide and supervise others in performing assigned tasks.
- PLO15: Demonstrate self-direction, make professional judgements, and articulate and justify professional positions with clarity and evidence.
