  1. Training objectives

General Objectives:

The program follows an application-oriented approach, aiming to develop creative, outstanding, responsible, and resilient global citizens who are ready to undertake professional roles in Vietnamese, Japanese, and international agencies, organizations, and enterprises. Graduates are expected to possess advanced Japanese language proficiency for the international business environment and demonstrate the ability for lifelong learning.

Specific Objectives:

PO1: Be equipped with political awareness, ethical qualities, and appropriate thinking methodologies;

PO2: Possess fundamental knowledge of social sciences, politics, and law;

PO3: Acquire in-depth knowledge and proficiency in the Japanese language, particularly in the fields of economics and commerce; demonstrate appropriate communication and behavior aligned with Japanese culture when working in Japan-related organizations and enterprises;

PO4: Possess strong information technology skills to support learning and professional work, meeting the rapid changes of the Industry 4.0 era;

PO5: Be able to communicate independently in a second foreign language, namely English, French, or Chinese;

PO6: Demonstrate the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a modern international environment; take personal and team responsibility in guiding, disseminating, and transferring knowledge in Business Japanese, as well as supervising others in assigned tasks;

PO7: Demonstrate lifelong learning ability and the capacity to pursue further studies or research at postgraduate level, both domestically and internationally, in Japanese language, economics, business, trade, or education.

Knowledge

PLO1: Apply foundational knowledge of political science, social sciences, and humanities in study and professional work;

PLO2: Apply Japanese language knowledge at Level 5/6 of the Vietnamese Foreign Language Competency Framework (equivalent to JLPT N2) in work and daily life;

PLO3: Apply fundamental knowledge of Japanese culture, society, and business practices in work and daily life;

PI1: Apply basic knowledge of Japanese culture and society in work and daily life;

PI2: Apply basic knowledge of Japanese business practices in work and daily life;

PLO4: Analyze issues within the field of Business Japanese studies.

PLO6: Demonstrate the ability to identify, formulate, and solve problems; apply critical thinking and evaluation skills; utilize alternative solutions in uncertain or changing environments; effectively communicate problems and solutions in the workplace; transfer and disseminate knowledge and skills for performing simple and complex tasks;
