Bachelor in International Business, majoring in International Business (High-Quality Program, taught in English) (from cohorts K64 onward)

  1. Training objectives

1.1. General objectives

The program aims to train high-quality human resources capable of occupying expert and managerial positions in the fields of economics and business, especially economics and international business at international organizations and enterprises, state management agencies, and research institutions.

1.2. Specific objectives

PO1: Have basic capabilities to become experts and managers in roles related to economics and business, especially economics, international  business;

PO2: Have basic knowledge of economics and business, along with specialized knowledge in various fields of economics and international business; specifically, in-depth expertise in one or several areas of economics, international business;

PO3: Have good health, strong political and ethical qualifications, the resilience to overcome difficulties and challenges, an innovative and creative mindset, the ability to self-direct, and a sense of responsibility toward individuals and the public, as well as a commitment to serving the community;

PO4: Have the ability to work effectively in a digital environment and use English proficiently in professional activities;

PO5: Have the ability to identify, analyze, synthesize, critique, and solve complex problems within the fields of economics, business; apply business models within an international context; demonstrate a capacity for lifelong learning; and be well-prepared to pursue master’s or doctoral programs in economics, business.

2.1. About knowledge

PLO1: Apply foundational knowledge of natural sciences, political science, social sciences and humanities, and law for studying and working;

PLO2: Apply foundational economic and business theories and data analysis tools to analyze the operations of organizations and enterprises;

PLO3: Analyze in-depth economic and business issues of a nation or an organization/enterprise operating internationally or associated with an international environment;

2.2. About skills

PLO4: Develop professional communication, information transmission and teamwork skills in academic and professional environments;

PLO5: Effectively coordinate academic and professional activities through leading, playing a core role, or proactively collaborating within a team; integrate personal factors with professional requirements to build a suitable career development path;

PLO6: Demonstrate innovative thinking and an entrepreneurial spirit; effectively combine professional skills in economic and international business analysis with academic tools to propose and implement appropriate solutions in study, work, and industry practice;

PLO7: Proficiently use a foreign language equivalent to Level 5/6 of Vietnam’s Foreign Language Proficiency Framework and specialized English;

PLO8: Formulate advanced information technology skills (according to Circular No. 03/2014/TT-BTTTT dated 14/03/2014 by the Ministry of Information and Communications). Digital competence reaches Level 5/8 in proficiency levels (data and information exploitation; communication and collaboration in digital environments; digital content creation; safety) and Level 4/8 for AI application according to the Digital Competence Framework according to Circular No. 02/2025/TT-BGDĐT dated 24/01/2025 by the Ministry of Education and Training;

2.3. About Autonomy and Responsibility

PLO9: Form a personal value system that promotes a spirit of lifelong learning, professional ethics, adaptability, and perseverance; demonstrated through proactive behaviors to overcome difficulties, enhance professional capabilities, and adjust learning and working methods appropriately in  changing contexts.

** Students may choose to study a second foreign language in addition to the Program’s primary language of instruction (selecting one from Chinese, Japanese, French, or Spanish). Upon completion of the second foreign language courses, students achieve Level 3/6 of Vietnam’s Foreign Language Proficiency Framework according to Circular No. 01/2014/TT-BGDĐT. The academic results of the second foreign language are not included in the cumulative grade point average (GPA) and are not a requirement for evaluating the attainment of the Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs). These results are recorded and included in the student’s Academic Certificate.
